Cory Irwin completed his Boy Scout of America Eagle Project on Saturday June 5. Cory’s project was focused on VHS tape conversion to DVD. He demonstrated his leadership skills by creating an on-line inventory, burning DVD’s, applying custom labels, and creating case covers. Cory raised money walking dogs, mowing lawns, and a local restaurant supported a fund raiser at two locations. The entire project cost $608 which paid for, the DVD’s, DVD cases, labels, a printer and a stand. Cory documented almost 200 hours on the project. Cory donated the printer to MAPS.
On behalf of MAPS Air Museum, I would like to thank Cory for his hard work and dedication to the completion of the project. He truly demonstrated the characteristics necessary for the BSA Rank of Eagle Scout.
