MAPS Member Valerie Kinney has been the Honor Flight coordinator since 2007. On Sunday September 22, the CAK chapter of the Honor Flight program flew its final flight. It was the 11th flight and over 1,100 WWII veterans were escorted to Washington DC to visit the WWII Memorial, Korea, Vietnam, Air Force and FDR Memorials. The CAK Chapter has completed the original list of WWII Veterans which was their goal. ”Mission Accomplished.” Congratulations on this very successful and honorable program.
