Saturday 6/30/12 was a special day at MAPS. A large group of Rosie the Riveters came to visit. These ladies stepped in during WWII to build the planes, tanks, ships and equipment needed for the war effort. Many sacrifices were made by everyone to win the war that had to be won. Thank You everyone.
Here some of the ladies are escorted by Tour Guide Ralph Lynn. How appropriate it was to have Mr. Lynn show the ladies around. You see he was a B-24 Pilot during WWII and flew combat missions over Germany and occupied France.
