Thanks to all MAPS Members who made the Saturday Event and Campout a success. MAPS Members conducted a program designed around the requirements for the Boy Scout Aviation Merit Badge. Fifty-five Boy Scouts and seventy-five Girl Scouts participated in the days activities which included a Museum Tour, classes on Aerodynamics, Instrumentation, Aviation Careers, and demonstrations on the fox hole radio, preflight and building and flying a model airplane.

MAPS plans to conduct the Boy Scout Campout as a recurring event, two times a year. Spring, Great Trail Council and Fall, Buckeye Council. The Fall Campout is scheduled for September 17 & 18. Registration forms will be sent to Buckeye shortly.
MAPS also plans to develop a special Day Program for the Girl Scouts by adjusting the stations to meet the requirements determined by the Girl Scouts for a pin or special patch. More information will be released as it is developed.
