Ralph Lynn Autographed Picture B-24 Liberator Pilot, The Attlebridge Boys
1,000 piece puzzle of a B-17 Flying Fortress
Pilot Budd Wentz was a B-17 Pilot during WWII and he autographed this picture of the flight when his B-17 was rammed in the tail by a ME-109. He received significant damage to all of the flight surfaces but was able to turn the aircraft and land it by adjusting the engine throttles. All aboard survived the flight. The German Pilot who flew the ME-109 also survived the crash.
The latest work by noted aviation artist David J. Ails depicting the moment of impact on the B-17 Flying Fortress, piloted by Lt. Budd Wentz, when it was deliberately rammed by a German Bf-109 on April 7, 1945. Although most of the B-17's tail was destroyed, Lt. Wentz managed to fly and land the crippled bomber safely.
Noted aviation artist Dave Ails has produced art work depicting Captain Don Block’s B-26 Marauder on a mission over Germany in 1945. MAPS member and WWII veteran pilot Captain Donald Block has autographed this picture which is suitable for framing and will make a nice addition to your aviation collection.
