Thanks to the Stark County Community Foundation, the Freshmen class of Timken High School. On Thursday April 5th, one hundred sixty eight students came to MAPS to learn about aviation history. This was the second school that received the invitation. Canton South High School brought one hundred fifty eight sophomores over a two day period, March 29 & 30.

The visitation focused on several areas of US History.
- Isolationism: The impact of the attack on Pearl Harbor
- Tuskegee Airmen: Racism and Segregation during WWII
- Rosie the Riveter: Women in Industry and Women Pilots
- Rationing: Back home sacrifices for war materials
There are still three schools scheduled to visit; Tuslaw, Central Catholic and Lake High School.
