The Louise Timken Aviation Library will be a center for research and learning as a repository of military history.

The mission of the Library & Archives is to maintain and preserve institutional records and to collect, preserve, and make available images, literature (manuscripts, logs, & books), and oral histories relating to military history.

The library is located through the glass door to the right of the elevator corridor.

Typically the library is staffed on Wednesday and Saturday. The library depends on volunteers for staffing so calling or emailing prior to your visit is encouraged.

The library collection is open to the public with admission to the museum. Current up to date museum membership is required to check books out of the library. Books identified as reference must be used in the library.

There is limited availability of our all-volunteer staff. The library is typically staffed on Wednesday and Saturday. To confirm availability please call ahead.

The library is in the process of setting up a database for our collection so locating resources may take time. If you require research assistance please contact Debbie Bussinger at
