Explorer Program/Aviation Careers Event for our Youth

October 15, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free
If you have any Kids or Grandkids that have an interest in aviation please pass this on to them.  Thank You.

Dear Students,
We are pleased to invite you to take an opportunity to learn more about potential careers in Aviation. Through a partnership with MAPS Air Museum, Post/Club 356 offers a program specifically for students from Grade 6 – Grade 12.

We explore several Aviation career paths including Pilot, Aircraft mechanics, Flight Engineers, and Air Traffic Controllers. We meet roughly once per month for a site visit, lecture, activity.

In order to provide additional information, there will be an open house held on Friday, October 15th from 5:00 -7:00 pm at the MAPS Air Museum, located at 2260 International Parkway in North Canton, OH. There is a parking area directly in front of the MAPS Museum to use. This session will provide you with an overview of the Explorer Program and provide more details about the Aviation program.

In the Explorer Aviation program, you will have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of Aviation careers, visit Aviation facilities, and most importantly start down the path to a rewarding career!

Light refreshments will be offered. We are excited about having you join our Explorer Aviation program at MAPS and we hope that you will join us for a great year as we continue to build this new program.

If you have any further questions or cannot attend the open house, please contact Jim Felner, MAPS Scouting Coordinator, at 330.800.8063 or at felner.james@mapsairmuseum.org.

Feel free to bring your friends who may have similar career interests.
