The Fallen Feathers Memorial of Ohio project was created as a memorial to honor all Ohioans lost since the beginning of the War on Terror (9-11-01) and its subsequent conflicts, such as the those in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Memorial (photo above and located inside our main hangar) is a work of wood art that has been created by approximately 200 craft persons and wood artists from all across Ohio.  Each of these artists brings varying skills and interpretations to his/her work.  The Memorial consists of 3 parts: Bald Eagle feathers carved in wood; a wall on which the feathers are mounted; and a book in which the lives of the lost are profiled.
