Come to the the University of Akron’s Hometown Heroes Night on September 14^th as Akron Football takes on Colgate.

For our Hometown Heroes Night, all current military and veterans get in the game for free and can pick up their free ticket at our box office on the day of the game. We also have discounted tickets for the family and friends of the military members available through the link below. Kickoff is at 6pm on September 14th at InfoCision Stadium.

There will be a military tailgate (at the University of Akron, not at MAPS) hosted by The University of Akron Military Services in Lot 9 on gameday (look for the American Flags) and we are inviting veterans and those currently serving to join us on the field for the national anthem to present our big flag for the anthem.  MAPS is supporting this event because it recognizes Veterans and First Responders.
