[2012] Received a Grant from Stark Community Foundation (Hoover Fund) for US History Classes in High School to bring 1,000 students from Stark County to MAPS. The grant was very successful by bringing 6 High Schools and 1,180 students, teachers and bus drivers.
[2013] Received a Grant from Stark Community Foundation (Timken Fund) for US History Classes in High School to bring 2,000 students from Stark County to MAPS. The grant allowed 1,624 visitors from the schools to visit MAPS.
[2014] Received authorization to use the remaining funds from the 2013 grant to support the program for about 770 students.
[2015] Received a Grant from Stark Community Foundation: 1) The Patricia A. & Larry A. Merriman Charitable Fund, and 2) William A. & Ann Brothers Charitable at Stark Community Foundation. These grants have the potential to bring 2,300 students to MAPS for the US History Program.
[2016] Received a grant from The William E. Shanafelt Philanthropic Fund at the Stark Community Foundation to bring 1,662 students and 67 teachers from ten high schools to MAPS Air Museum. This grant had a matching component to help increase the number of schools that could take advantage of the program.
[2018] Received a grant from The Henry and Louise Timken Foundation Fund at the Stark Community Foundation to bring schools to MAPS Air Museum for the US History and STEM Programs.
