MAPS has attained a large collection of components from the military. Everything from engines, radios, refueling nose gear, props, ejection seats and a blimp canopy.
These items permeate the hangar area for your pleasure, so be sure to look in every corner of the hangar and display areas! Here you can see a random selection of components:
- General Electric J-79 Turbojet used on aircraft such as the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter and the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom
- Radios & communication devices, both land based and in an aircraft.
