Renovation Activities ~ As of 1/8/24

I was on hiatus for a bit during the Holidays but am back now, so on with the Update Posts!
This is from Ken Ramsay:

- At the Christmas Party the 2023 Legacy Awards were announced. They are Rick Johnston, Kent Kleinknecht and Ron Duplain. Well done.

- Carl continues to work on the Cutlass aft end. Looking better and better.

- Fitting aluminum on the Cutlass canopy compound curve is a challenge. Lots of forming and clecos.

- However, riveting has begun.

- And Jerry is working on the aft end of the canopy.

- John installed the propeller and spinner on. The Cassutt.

- And then the wings were installed.

- Lookin good. Canopy is next.

- The hanger is packed for the winter. The RF-9F Cougar and the A-7 Corsair II are in for cleaning and painting (top photo also). The Thunderchief is almost finished.

- Work continues on the upper inner wing panel. Like the Cutlass canopy panel, it is a compound curve and takes a lot of forming.

- We received wheels for the Corsair. The tires will be removed and real Corsair tires installed (2 photos).
