From Ken Ramsay: Cold today (Saturday), mid 30s, but a lot of work got done.
The T-37A fuselage was moved in to the restoration building for extensive renovation. It hasn’t weathered well. (Photo above too)
The H-19 is now on its landing gear and the engine raised to its operational position.
One engine cover was trial fit.
Last Wednesday Bob installed the horizontal stabilizer tips. He has been working on them for some time. Forming this type of geometry is very difficult.
Dan and I worked on the F-86A’s cockpit. We got the oxygen panel installed and the front and rear left hand side panels installed. The intermediate panels are missing and we will have to make them.
Fabrication of the Corsair’s rudder has begun with rib parts being formed by Tom.
And trim tabs are in the works.
The Cutlass is off of the trailer and on its landing gear. We have the main gear wheels and tires but they need some work prior to installation.
