Last Wednesday Dan and I went to visit the Glenn L. Martin Air Museum, just east of Baltimore MD, to look at the F-100F that the Army (yes the Army) transferred to MAPS. As you can see from the photos it is in reasonable shape but will take a lot of skin cleaning (top photo also).
The good news is that it has an afterburner nozzle. This is the F-102 nozzle that was incorporated on the F-100 in the late 60s, early 70s.
They have a Rosie The Riveter display also (2 photos).
Today we had the NEO car show at MAPS. Nice cars if you like Maserati, Lamborghini, etc.
And a VW.
Dan and I installed the aileron on the F-86A’s right wing. A little touch-up work and we are ready for wing installation.
