The following is an excerpt from The War in Vietnam ~ Conflict Timeline (1950-1976): “The memories and horrors of the War in Vietnam still linger for many Americans, especially for that generation that participated in the conflict.   It is hoped that this timeline as well as the descriptions, stories and artifacts displayed in this room will provide you with a “snapshot” of the courage and dedication of a generation of young Americans.  While this timeline cannot hope to cover all of the events or military operations that occurred during these years, it will provide a sampling of some of the major events.”
