Renovation Activities ~ As of 3/6/22March 6, 2022MAPS will be part of the Blue Star Museums Initiative this summer!March 20, 2022 From Ken Ramsay: Last week-end it was 71 degrees here. This week-end………….welcome to Ohio. At the membership meeting we dedicated the banquet center’s bar to the 112 FS by unveiling the wood carving of the 112’s logo (and photo on top). Jodie has the H-19’s engine doors are almost complete. Next comes prime and paint. Chet is replacing all of the front windows on the Beech 18. Lots of modification work on changing our T-37 to an A-37. The spine paneling is being replaced on the F-105. The B-26 is getting some new nose art. Suzie Q was a B-26 that did some spectacular work in WW II. Dave knows the whole story. The canopy actuator motor and gear box have been installed in the F-86A. Now we have to test it. It ran well on the work bench, now we’ll see. Al made another instrument for the F-86A’s instrument panel. Now there are 3. Can you spot them? One more to go. Share
