We finished the restoration of the Sabre’s canopy (photo on top too). All seams have been caulked and it is ready for installation.

Skinning of the H-19’s aft section is progressing. Lots of cut and shape.
The H-19’s engine has been installed in the renewed engine compartment.

The Corsair’s left wing attach structure has been beefed up (lower left of photo) and a tribute to a Rosy the Riveter was applied to the fuselage. Velda worked on Corsairs at Goodyear and recently visited MAPS and was thrilled to see our Corsair. She was 99. She passed away a little while ago.
The Corsairs rudder is coming along.
The pylons have been installed on the A-37’s wing.
And the air refueling piping has been installed on the forward fuselage.
For The Super Sabre Memorial Exhibit, Robert (Hoppy) Hopkins delivered the Medal of Honor awarded to BGen George (Bud) Day. Gen Day’s son donated it to the SSME along with his formal uniform with all of the medals attached. Bud Day initiated the Misty Fast FAC program in Vietnam flying F-100Fs.
