Renovation Activities & New Arrival ~ As of 1/8/23January 8, 2023Renovation Activities ~ As of 1/26/23January 26, 2023 From Ken Ramsay: The stars on the A-26 deteriorated a little while it was outside for a couple of years. The stars will be redone by the F-14 crew. Thanks guys. Need to make some rounded airfoil tips for the Corsair and Cutlass. This is the beginning of one for the Corsair tailcone. Chet has installed some of the floorboards in the C-45. Thanks to Sean Ramsay for the wood flooring. The H-19’s interior is almost ready for the installation of the stretchers. And one of the helicopters rotor blades has been installed. The other two are being painted. We now have a tow bar for the H-19. Work continues on the F-105. Sanding and paint removal progresses (photo above also)). One of the training combat patches will remain as it is part of the Thunderchief’s history. Jerry is working hard on the F7U to fix the left wing leading edge. Lots of damaged material to remove.. While removing the damaged material on the Cutlass, Jerry found a name plate. We assume it goes to the wing and is dated 4/20/54. Share
