MAPS Air Museum has joined the Ohio Air & Space Trail!
The Ohio Air and Space Trail (OAST) is part of the bigger America 250-Ohio, which is a national program preparing for our nations 250th birthday on July 4th, 2026.
What is the Ohio Air & Space Trail? It is a collection of museums and historic sites that best tell the story of Ohio’s contributions to aviation and aerospace. There are 34 sites highlighted on the trail across the state, so, visitors can start at any point.
What is America 250-Ohio? On July 4, 2026, our nation will commemorate the 250th anniversary (Semiquincentennial!) of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Ohio’s participation will be the telling of stories surrounding Ohio’s contributions to the nation. Each state is preparing their own events and programming unique to their own state.
