Stark Community Foundation has awarded MAPS Air Museum a $15,000 educational grant for our High School US History program. $5,000 of the grant is contingent on raising matching contributions from individuals prior to November 2016.
This program has grown significantly over the past five years to include thirteen Stark County Schools and 1,664 students. The program focuses on Ohio State Standards for US History and the addition of the Ohio Military Museum will make the visit even more comprehensive. The teachers look forward to their visits each year and the feedback has always been very positive.
We need your help to be able to offer all of the schools in Stark County the ability to participate in the very important program.
