Thank you to all who have served!November 5, 2024 From Ken Ramsay: Stitching the fabric on the J-3 Cub’s wing is a very tedious process. Position light socket installed in the cutlass right wing underside. Rebuilt nose wheel on the F-104 installed and seems to hold air. Only time will tell. The hoist has been installed on the H-19. Corsair flap ribs have been cut. Shaping is next. And Dave has made a form for the flap assembly. Skinning the J-3 Cub’s wings continues. And skinning of the Cub’s fuselage has begun. The nose of the cutlass has been removed for restoration. Paul; has been working on the Cutlass vertical tail while the weather is good. Applying glue on the sheet PVC for a panel on the Cutlass right outer wing. Screwing the aluminum and PVC panel to the wing structure. Weights to hold everything together while the glue sets. Share
