This photo shows how poor the H-19’s skin is. Looks a lot like the F-102’s skin. This is magnesium corrosion and is characterized by its hit by a shotgun look.
And the damaged skin on the H-19 is being replaced at a rapid pace. Lots of cutting, drilling and shaping. Left side.
