The Cold War ~ History Presentations Series
February 23, 2021From Ken Ramsay:
- Ray continues to work on the bar. Looks like it could be ready for drinks in the near future. (photo above also)
- The underside light gray paint is being applied to the F-102 by Ron. Jodie and Terry are working on the wind screens and Carl is working on the canopy.
- Featured airplane of the week.
- Riveting has begun on the H-19 by Bob and Mark. Dennis held a riveting class as most of us are a little rusty when it comes to riveting….
- ….and Dennis is skinning the H-19’s aft fairing. Another compound curve to contend with.
- Paul has finished the F-105’s hinge cover. Priming is next.
- Way up on top of some shelves we found some epoxy parts for the F-105. There were some AB panels and a drag chute door. It took a lot of sanding and fitting, but I got the drag chute door installed and sealed. Obviously it needs painting to blend in.
- Dennis said that there should be a picture of me working. So here I am applying the lettering to the Falcon missile.
