Renovation Activities ~ Week Ending 5/2/21

The weather is getting warmer and lots of work is going on, after having a bit of snow last Wednesday (photo above).
-
- The drake’s damaged hull is being patched.
-
- Has taken John & Ken long hours of straightening bending and planning.
-
- Lots of Clecos.
-
- Ron completed fabricating a new gear door for the OV-1. Hard to tell the difference.
-
- Dave and Gary are back and work on the Corsair has resumed. The second horizontal stabilizer is nearing completion.
-
- Tail wheel door framing is in the works.
-
- And some disassembly is needed to get at the control column mechanism for restoration purposes. Carl and his big wrench.

- Gary is machining steel parts.
-
- More riveting on the H-19 on the left rear area.
-
- The instrument panel shroud has been installed giving the area a finished look.
