From Ken Ramsay: I’ve been gone for two weeks and things moved right along without me. It was great returning and see all of the progress being made (Featured aircraft above).
The Pitts Special was cleaned by John, and he sent this photo to Leo who donated the plane to us.
The F-102 crew found its ladder. It will be refurbished and become part of the display. The ladder can be hung with the canopy closed (unlike the F-100).
I finished the F-105’s vertical stabilizer by installing and testing the position light.
While I was gone Paul began fabricating a tail hook for the F-105.
Flush patching has begun on the F-105’s fuselage.
Priming of the F-4 is in progress. It will be final painted in Marine color.
The front landing gear has been installed on the H-19.
The OV-1 got its nose insignia, excellent work.
The skin on the Corsairs aft end is being installed.
Mary’s garden look great. A very nice place to take a break.
